摘要
China has witnessed rapid increase in waste electrical and electronics equipment (WEEE), but has not yet established corresponding recycling and administration systems. This made most of the waste household appliances neither effectively recycled nor safely treated. On the basis of China's new achievements in making regulations and laws about WEEE disposal, this paper analyzes our special situation on WEEE recycling. The author also makes comparisons between China and developed countries on institutional environment, market environment and consciousness environment of WEEE disposal. Finally, the author puts forward some practical suggestions on promoting to establish our own WEEE recycling system.
