Santa Catarina Basketball Coaches: The Development Formal, Informal And Non-Formal Learning

摘要
The aim of this work was to identify the development of formal, non-formal and informal learning of basketball coaches from Santa Catarina/Brazil. Participated 19 coaches from 14 cities in this state who filled out a questionnaire the identity of personal and professional. Content analysis was used to analyze the information. The formal learning of the participants permeated by the initial training, in Institutions of Higher Education of public character (n=9) and private (n=10), in Physical Education - Licenciature degree extended (n=13), licenciature degree (n=3), bachelor degree (n=1) and both (n=2). In addition, 13 studied post-graduation lato sensu and two in lato sensu and stricto sensu. As non-formal learning, they indicated participation in events (n=18) and presencial training courses (n=11) and/or distance (n=6). In informal learning through the exchange of knowledge between coaches (n=19) and professionals from other areas (n=13) and; (n=19), scientific articles (n=15) and miscellaneous articles (n=13). it also was indicated experience as an athlete (n=18) and assistant coach (n=17). Therefore, the investigated about coach learning presented different forms of socialization and showed similarity in all types of learning, mainly in the informal.
