摘要：
The aim of this paper is to model risk of monetary poverty in the European countries by logistic model with mixed effects in the period 2004 2008 (European Union - Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) 2005 - 2009). The individuals are scored according to the level of poverty threshold, in our case according to the level 60% of median of the national equivalized disposable income. The paper is focused on estimation of the percentages of individuals bellow poverty threshold depending on the EU-country (as a random effect) and on the sex and age category of individuals (as fixed effects).
