摘要
Japanese digital terrestrial television and sound broadcasting (named as ISDB-T: Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial) have launched in 2003. The broadcasting system can provide various services by using a narrow-band "segment" for handheld reception use. In order to realize a handheld terminal which is restricted in term of size, power consumption and so on, we have developed a compact "Front-end" Module applied for one segment transmission of ISDB-T. The "Front-end" Module is composed of a tuner; a demodulator and so forth. In this paper; we describe some features of the compact Module and technologies.
