The incident's presentation refers to early diagnosis and the invasive preservative treatment of a patient with an ectopic cervical pregnancy. A pregnant second born with multiple abortion in her record arrived to the outpatients department of our clinic reporting that she had the last few days a vaginal hemorrhagic combined with a deep mild ache at the area of hypogastrium and the back. The urine pregnancy test was positive. The last menstruation was not possible to be defined in accuracy because of the repeated artificial abortions during the last period of time. The intervaginal ultrasound lead to the diagnosis of ectopic cervical pregnancy and a preservative surgical treatment of the patient was decided. In the surgery after the intracervical and endometrium evacuation there was implemented a preventive vaginal - cervical tamponage. Two days later the patient left from our clinic in a good general abortion. In the present essay, after the presentation of the incident, a brief literature review of this rare obstetrical complication is attempted according to the modem data, regarding the causative pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
