摘要
The environmental magnetism parameters and contents of heavy metal elements, from the sediment specimen vertically sampled at East Lake (Guanqiao Lake), have been measured and studied. The vertical magnetic characteristics show that variations of sediment magnetism are coincidence with contents of heavy metals sample selected, Cr, Zn, Cu, Pb and Mn, nearly according with the variation of per capita GDP of Wuhan. It is proven that the method proposed is prompt and effective in tracing and locating heavy metals pollution in lake sediment and reflects process of environmental pollution and evolution during urbanization in study area and its outskirt.
