摘要
Increasing energy efficiency represents an essential component of all energy strategies, directly contributing to sustainable development, increasing security of supply, the level of energy bill affordability etc. All the official documents mainly focus on establishing the quantitative targets and the orientation trajectories for obtaining energy savings, as well as on monitoring the orientation trajectories for adopting certain corrective measures. Energy efficiency monitoring is performed by means of mathematical models and complex databases. The specialists in the field have oriented in two directions: the top-down mathematical models and the bottom-up mathematical models. The paper presents a top-down model for the calculation of energy savings.
