ESR study on electronic structure and chemical reactivity of metallofullerenes

Many derivatives of fullerenes C-60 and C-70 produced by cycloadition process, such as dipolar additions and Diel-Alder reaction have been reported. These reaction have been applied to produce exohedral functionalized fullerene derivatives. Reactions of La@C-82 with disilirane, digermirane and diphenyldiazomethane have been studied by EPR respectively.
