摘要
In this paper Galerkin's method in the vector Fourier transform domain is used for computing the resonant frequencies of rectangular microstrip patch resonators printed on anisotropic substrates. The anisotropic substrates are characterized by both permittivity and permeability tensors. Using a matrix representation of the anisotropic layer, the dyadic green's function of the problem is efficiently determined in the vector Fourier transform domain. The effects of the permittivity and permeability variations on the operating frequency are investigated. Both variations in the permittivity as well as in the permeability perpendicular to the optical axis of the dielectric and along this axis are considered.
