摘要：
The period covered by this review has seen exciting developments in our understanding of Down's syndrome. Of particular interest has been further elucidation of the clinical features of dementia, through the use of longitudinal, rather than cross-sectional, methodologies. Recent findings relating to apolipoprotein-E and other factors suggest that the relationship between Down's syndrome and dementia may be rather more complex than previously thought.
