摘要
Impulsivity means acting without estimating the consequence. Violence related to personality disorders may be analyzed in the best manner When accepted as an independent violence syndrome, rather than searching for a psychiatric diagnosis:Bight categories of violence are delineated by authors in order to help clinicians to choose-She treatment and perpetuation: i)violence with a tool having a specified goal, ii) violence without a tool and does net have a specified goal, iii) violence having a specific goal, targeted to someone/something and in a defending manner iv) impulsive violence targeted to someone/something, v) random impulsive violence not targeted and occuring in response to emotional escape, vi) coincidental violence whether-having a specific goal, vii)violence related to fear or sense of losing or being left, viii)violence related to thionic paranoia or misunderstandings. Violence itself is helpful for diagnosis of a personality disorder. Besides, clinicians should discriminate the violent behavior from hostile/agressive behavior. For differential diagnosis; i) personality disorders are egosyntonic, Most patient and most violence behaviors points attention to be paid for comorbid situations, violence and the risk for violence are often related to intoxication.
