摘要
Colorectal operations have been performed laparoscopic or open way. The question is which way is optimal for the patient. Using logistic regression, the probability of postoperative complications after laparoscopic and open surgeries can be estimated. The knowledge of the functional dependence on explanatory variables of these probabilities allows us to choose the optimal operational technique. This choice depends on the patient's health condition and implicitly, on hospital parameters. Data collected in the Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital Ostrava in years 2001-2006 were used for the research.
