摘要
Maternal infection by Human Parvovirus B19 in pregnancy can adversely affect pregnancy outcome. Fetal infection can lend to hydrops fetalis or death, chronic anemia and myocardial and bowel diseases. We report a case of meconium peritonitis and ascitis associated with Human Parvovirus B19 infection which occurred during the 28th weeks of gestation. After bowel resection was performed in the second day of life, a two - month follow-up showed normal growth and development.
