Application of 1/N-expansion method to periodic Anderson model with crystalline-electric-field splitting

摘要
We investigate the temperatinv dependenc:e of the dyriamical properties on the basis of periodic Anderson model (PAM) including the crystalline-electric-field splitting with a single conduction band by using 1/N-exapnsion method, where IV is the spin-orbital degeneracy of f-electrons. This 1/N-expansion method is known to give asymptotically exact result for the behaviour of physical quantities When it is applied to a single orbital PAM. In this work, We perform an extended 1/N-expansion and discuss the behaviour of the electrical resistivity rho of Ce-hosed heavy fermion systems. By parameterizing the pressure effect as the hybridization parameter V between the conduclion electrons and the Pelearons, we qualitatively explain that the clot ible peak structure in the T-dependence of rho(T) is shown to merge into a single peak with increasing V.
