摘要
A Solar Panel has one distinct point where maximum power generated. It is called Maximum Power Point (MPP). MPP is affected by the changes in environmental factors such as sun irradiation and temperature. In order to obtain maximum power from solar cells continuously, it has to work on its maximum power point despite the inevitable changes in environment. This is why the applied controllers on solar panels employ Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm. The objective of this study is to design MPPT method based on Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) using boost converter which able to reach MPP in a short period of time and to adapt with changing environmental conditions quickly. The design is based on study literature and simulation. The results prove the FLC MPPT is able to detect and reach MPP under slow and fast changes in irradiance.
