摘要
Simulations of the effects of gas expulsion due to a supernova remnant on the dynamics of a star cluster were performed. The rapid expulsion of gas is followed by a slower loss of some or all of the stars. If the fraction of the initial mass in stars is high (> 40%) the profile of the stars 20 - 40 Myr after gas expulsion shows significant bumps and dips. These features are observed in young LMC star clusters, suggesting that these young clusters had a high star formation efficiency and underwent a rapid gas loss episode shortly after formation.
