摘要
The elimination of a position sensor using a mathematical algorithm is known as sensorless control. A large number of papers of sensorless control techniques have been published in the last decade. All these methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. Ideally, it is desirable to have a sensorless system, which uses only operating data measured from motor terminals while maintaining a reliable operation over the entire speed and torque range with high resolution and accuracy. However, due to the nonlinearity of the magnetic field inside switched reluctance motors, such an ideal sensorless control system is not easy to be implemented. In the paper there is presented a method of position estimation for switched reluctance motor which is based on the observer and is suitable for the area of middle and higher speed of switched reluctance motor. Simulation results show that the sensorless method estimates the rotor position with good resolution.
