摘要：
Geographical names are the historical and cultural heritage of a nation, they are not only the symbol of a country's territorial sovereignty, but also the mass media in social associations. This paper explains the definition of globalization, the influence of English translation and dissemination of Chinese geographical names on economic globalization; expounds communication effect of international standardization of English translation of Chinese geographical names, China's plan for global governance expressed through English translation of Chinese geographical names; and mainly discusses some special English translation of Chinese geographical names. All this is of great significance to economic globalization, global governance and the establishing of a community of shared future for mankind.
