Possible application of neural networks to vehicle dynamics and control

摘要
It can be difficult problem in the vehicle modelling the description of the systems that are inherently, non-linear. There are some conventional modelling techniques, where non-linearities are approximated by mathematical formulas, look-up tables, numerical techniques or finite element approximation, where the system is replaced by limited quantities of linear systems. The non-linearity of vehicle systems can be severe toward its performance limits, and the approximation by the conventional modelling techniques can be progressively more inaccurate. Recent developments in the area of the neural networks may provide an alternative approach to the modelling of the non-linearity of vehicle systems or vehicle dynamics. This paper introduces into the possibility of the applications of neural networks mainly in the field of vehicle dynamics.
