摘要：

Many regionalized variables in geostatistics often show skew distributions. In this case it is possible to consider whether they follow the lognormal distribution with three parameters. This paper proposes a new method for the optimal estimation of the three-parameters of these distributions. The test shows that the approximated estimation is simple and effective for moderate and large samples, so it is helpful to the statistical distribution testing and statistical prediction of mineral resources.
