A study of active noise cancellation in ducts

摘要：
An infinite impulse response (IIR) filter based on RLMS algorithm is used to control the sound propagated in a duct. The offline error path modification is also included in the algorithm in order to obtain a better result. Three different types of noise source, i.e. pure tone, dual sine and narrowband-limited noise, are considered. This controller not only has a strong effect on the noise reduction for pure tone and dual sine sound sources, but also reduces the narrowband-limited noise markedly. Further study on the reduction of the broad noise source is required however. (C) 1997 Academic Press Limited.
