An Analysis on the Multi-dimensional Values of Religious Tourism and a Research into its Development

摘要
Making referece to the "Systematic Principle" and "Stakeholders Theory", this study analyzes the multi- dimensional values of religious tourism in China from three aspect's which are all stakeholders in tourism system: tourists; residents and related organizations at religious sites; religious heritage and the whole society. The results show that religious tourism can produce values at more dimensions than other tour products do: renders travelling value to tourists; creates economic value for residents and related organizations at religious sites; grants social value to religious heritage and the whole society. The realization of this three dimensions of value will ensure the sustainable development of religious tour. Furthmore, the researches probe into the problems on the development of religious tourism multi-dimensional value, and propose countmeasures for its development in China.
