摘要
Aim: Assessment of serum levels of cytokines, soluble form of receptors, adhesion molecules and nitric oxide (NO) in pts with CAD in relation to LV function. Methods: The study group consisted of 27 pts with CAD (group A): subgroups: A1 - pts with EF>50%; A2 - pts with EF<= 50%. Serum levels of TNFalpha; IL-6; sTNFR I and 2; adhesion molecules: ICAM-1; VCAM-1; E Selectin; P Selectin and NO were measured. Results: In pts with CAD serum concentrations of TNFalpha, sTNFR 1, and IL-6 were higher compared to controls. There were not any differences between subgroups A1 and A2. In group A TNFalpha and sTNFR 2 levels correlated with EF (r=-0.397; r=-0.455; p<0.05). Conclusions: The serum cytokines concentrations are increased in pts with CAD. The correlations between TNFalpha and sTNFR 2 levels and the indices of LV dysfunction confirm their role in the development of heart failure in CAD.
