Female Teachers' Career Planning of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages

Although Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages has been developing rapidly, and Chinese teachers have been increasing year by year, researches concerned about female Chinese teachers have yet to be improved. Female Chinese teachers have played an important role on TCSOL because of their superiorities of absolute quantity, high quality and unique advantages of gender, but at the same time they have a deviation of self assessment, influencing by individual background and environmental factors. Professional characteristics of TCSOL show that there are both great opportunities and challenges for female teachers. Female Chinese teachers should grasp opportunities positively, avoid deviation, and deal with career planning and life planning to improve overall, and achieve further expansion and extension.
