摘要
The electrochemical characteristics of a Fe-based electrode fabricated on a yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) solid electrolyte were thoroughly investigated. The gas-insensitivity of the Fe-based electrode was recorded at temperatures <= 600 degrees C. Additionally, it was demonstrated that the as-fabricated Fe-based electrode exhibited a rather stable baseline value at 600 degrees C. Following this, an YSZ-based oxygen sensor utilizing Pt sensing electrode and Fe-based electrode was examined. The oxygen sensor exhibited desirable performance, indicating that the developed Fe-based electrode has the potential to replace the conventional Pt/air reference electrode, currently utilized in YSZ-based oxygen sensors.
