摘要
A compact ultra-wideband directional dipole antenna with wide beamwidth is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna, designed on a RLC PCB, is composed of a bent dipole, feeding structures and a reflector. The RLC PCB is fixed at the middle of the bent dipole which is connected with the reflector. The proposed antenna features the advantages such as miniaturization (0.2 lambda x0.1 lambda x0.07 lambda) and wide impedance bandwidth. A 6:1 working bandwidth (starting frequency is 100 MHz) is achieved. The beamwidth of the proposed antenna is larger than 90 degrees.
