An Evacuation Model Considering Human Behavior

摘要
This paper conducts a series of evacuation trials to observe human behavior under different ship rolling angles modeled as a function of wind-wave dynamics. A velocity reduction model is then developed with the consideration of human characteristics, ship rolling angles and wind-wave dynamics. Based on the open source simulation software FDS Evac, the proposed model is implemented and validated through the simulation of the 7th deck of Bohai Cuizhu passenger ship, the largest Ro-Ro passenger ship in China.
