Performance Analysis For Diverse Simulation Scenarios for DSDV, DSR and AODV MANET Routing Protocols

摘要
A mobile ad-hoc network is a network comprised of mobile devices that are able to move freely in a random manner. The user nodes and the infrastructure itself are constantly changing. This sort of network is considered to be an self-directed system of mobile nodes, it may run in isolation or may interface with a permanent network via a gateway. In this system, each mobile node behaves not only as a host, but also as a router which is competent of communicating with other nodes, using either straight wireless links or multi-hop wireless links. One of the key issue that affects such a network with dynamically varying topology is the behavior. In this paper we will continue scrutinize standard routing protocols mostly used in MANET DSR, DSDV and AODV that are simulated in this work using dissimilar settings in terms of nodes density variation and nodes speed along with various traffic types. This protocols are investigated against a number of performance criteria's, energy usage, throughput, small packet delivery ratio and Total packets dropped.
