Pipelining Collaborative Test for Improving Student Performance in Introductory Programming Courses

摘要
This study presents an innovative pipelining two-stage exam format, PipE(2), to improve the first year students' performance. Experiment results show that the impact on student performance during PipE(2) was influenced by the difficulty of questions. More exposure to the topics before group discussion could improve the benefits and efficiency of PipE(2).
