General shell finite strip based on the non-periodic B-spline interpolation

摘要
In the paper we discuss the development of a new general shell strip with drilling degree of freedom. A non-periodic B3-spline is introduced to approximate the displacement and geometry along the length while the linear Lagrange polynomials are used transversely. Furthermore, substitute shear strain method can be applied to this formulation to overcome the shear locking problem. The substitute shear strain field is used for the spline finite strip and integrated by full integration scheme, so that the finite strip element does not have neither shear locking nor any spurious zero energy modes.
