摘要
There are several important antenna characteristics that should be considered when choosing an antenna for your application. The directivity and radiation pattern are very important characteristics. Measurement site includes not only electrical, but the mechanical equipment too. One of most important problems is the synchronization of data acquisition with antenna rotation system. The paper describes the measurement site design for automatic measurement of antenna directional characteristics. The hardware and software design is proposed. The results of automatic measurements are data in graphical or text form for antenna directivity, gain and frequency bandwidth evaluation. Some results of experiments are presented.
