Tech 4 Electronics Workforce Development System

In the recent years, the Electronics and Microelectronics industry has had significant impact on the economic development of Central Florida and the world. To ensure internationally competitive enterprises, a well prepared workforce must be available to meet the continuing employment needs of current high tech companies as well to attract new employers to the area. Although many public community colleges and universities along the "I-4 corridor" have been working with business and industry to offer educational programming in the field, recognition of the need to meet rapidly-evolving industry demands with increasingly-limited resources has led to establishment of an alliance of educators and businesses known as the "Tech-4 Educational Consortium".
