Co-gasification of sewage sludge and Virginia Mallow

摘要
A sewage sludge (humidity < 10%, grain diam. 5-15 mm) was mixed with a shredded biomass of Virginia Mallow (humidity < 10%, grain diam. 5-30 mm) in a mass ratio of 50:50, to increase the gasification temp. of the obtained mixt. in a fixed bed reactor to above 800 degrees C. The chem. compn. of the gases was detd. in accordance with the revelant stds. In addn., the chem. compns. of the gasification products of both reactants mixed in various mass proportions were calcd. by computer simulation based on a com. software. The simulation results confirmed the exptl. data as well as showed that the gasification temp. above 800 degrees C was possible to achieve for reactants mixts. with 50-75% share of sewage sludge.
