摘要
Distal radius fractures and triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tears are increasingly common injuries in children and adolescents. Given the frequency with which these injuries occur and their implications on hand and upper extremity function, all understanding of the fundamental treatment concepts is essential. The purpose of this article is to review the principles guiding diagnosis and treatment of distal radius fractures and TFCC tears in skeletally immature patients. Particular emphasis is placed upon differences in the management of these injuries between pediatric patients and adults.
