摘要
Effect of past electric field on the transport properties, like dc electrical conductivity of polystyrene thin film is reported. Log sigma versus 1/T exhibit linearity. log sigma versus past electric field is also plotted and also exhibit linearity. The results are interpreted on the basis of trapping of the charge in the vacancies and consequently release of them contributing to electrical conductivity. The hopping conduction is examined. Non-adiabatic hopping conduction is observed.
