The Double Chooz experiment is a next generation reactor experiment to measure theta(13). It is being installed in France. The Double Chooz R&D's are in final stages, and detector construction just started, The experiment will start data taking in 2009, which will be the quickest to explore theta(13) below the current CHOOZ limit (sin(2)(2 theta(13)) < 0.2), by reaching a sensitivity down to sin(2) (2 theta(13)) similar to 0.03. We will know or set a strong limit on theta(13) within a few years.
