With the triply indexed numbers A(m, n, nu) greater than or equal to 0, n, nu = 0, 1,..., m, m = 0, 1,..., a bivariate discrete power series distribution (p.s.d.) is associated. The asymptotic (m --> infinity) normality of that distribution is considered and it is extended in the multivariate case. Interesting special cases of such bivariate-multivariate distributions are given as applications of that consideration.
