摘要
The article discusses some issues of the geotechnology evolution during the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The authors analyze the domestic and foreign experience of the end-to-end digital technologies using by the world mining companies. The result of the study allowed us to conclude that the artificial intelligence can be successfully applied to all types of geotechnological processes. The analysis revealed that most studies into this field either focus on the technological aspects or concentrate on the issues relating to the preservation of companies' resources. At the same time, the issues connected with the safety use of digital technologies in geotechnological processes remain absolutely uncovered. On the example of using artificial intelligence in geotechnological management, problems have been identified in the field of responsibility allocation for accidents and emergencies. Based on the study, proposals were made to improve the regulation of the artificial intelligence usage in the geotechnological processes. The authors proposed the creation of a civil liability insurance institute for the artificial intelligence systems usage in the industry. The expediency of adopting a declaration of principles for the digital technologies implemented by the mining companies is considered. The requirements for artificial intelligence systems used in geotechnological processes are highlighted.
