摘要
Full multigrid, a nested iteration involving multigrid, cannot be applied to stiff viscous flow problems without verifying the quality of the solution from one mesh to the next one. In the case of variational approximation methods of finite element type, node-wise residuals cannot be directly used for this verification because they do not behave in accordance with the order of accurate scheme, and we propose here to use a new generalized residual; then a residual-controlled full multigrid method is built and applied to the calculation of several 2-D compressible steady flows.
