摘要
There is a notable tendency to convert to machine-assisted techniques in potato production. Investment in potato companies increases requiring increased supply of up-to-date complete potato production machine sets. High-yield potato varieties and an integral chain of home-and-foreign-machine-assisted potato production and storing techniques (including wide-row technologies) help all kinds of growers solve basic challenges of efficient potato production in Russia. It is practical to produce the bulk of potatoes in climatic zones most suitable for the purpose, Like the Central zone, Povolzhie (the Volga zone), Western Siberia, etc. In the central zone of Russia machine-assisted 90 cm and 140 cm production techniques have proven to have the advantage in terms of reproduction, sparing use of seeds, starch content, Labour costs as well as economic efficiency. There is an overview of circumstances by region in terms of quality potato production potential by means of available Logistics resources.
