摘要
A metallic cavity resonator in the shape of a circular cylinder is considered in the phasor domain. The resonator is filled with an even number of geometrically equal wedge-shaped sectors whose common edge is the cylinder axis. The sectors contain alternating double-positive (DPS) and double-negative (DNG) materials that are isoimpedance and anti-isorefractive to each other. It is shown that resonance occurs always, hence the resonator can be miniaturized.
