摘要：

A compact high-selectivity microstrip tri-band bandpass filter (BPF) using a multimode short stub-loaded symmetric loop resonator (SLSLR) with a feed structure is proposed in this paper. Distinct mode splitting characteristics of the quadruple-mode SLSLR are investigated and explained by using even-and odd-mode theory. The dual-band BPF is realized using the quadruple-mode SLSLR. Then, the high impedance feeding lines of SLSLR dual-band BPF is modified to produce a new passband. To validate the approach, a tri-band BPF centered at 1.4/2.7/3.57 GHz has been implemented. Good agreement is obtained between simulated and measured results.
