摘要：
The purpose of this volume is to bring together what is known about the impact of established populations of alien crayfish in Europe, both from the positive and negative points of view. This has been done to highlight various aspects of their biology relevant to the topic and to discuss what might be done about the problem. The situation is summarized below and some possible solutions and conclusions are reached.
