Design of a Frequency Selective Surface with a Transmissive Window and two Bidirectional Absorptive Bands

摘要
In this paper, a frequency selective surface (FSS) with a transmissive window and two bidirectional absorptive bands is investigated. A triple-layer structure consisting of two lossy and a lossless FSS was employed. A four-legged loaded elements and square slots were used in the design of the lossy and lossless FSS. Simulation results indicated that a passband covered from 4.2 to 5.8 GHz with a center frequency of 5 GHz were obtained. Two absorptive bands that bidirectionally absorb the incident power were achieved on both side of the passband.
