摘要
The bodybuilding sector of the province of Tungurahua has become a mainstay for the evolution of its economy despite the increase of foreign imports, by promoting new jobs, technological innovation in the metalworking industry and opportunities for organizational growth of human talent. These companies to institute organizational learning in their strategic policies, are promoting a learning-oriented culture that leads the company to continuous improvement. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the existence of a correlation between organizational learning and business growth. The universe object of this investigation was constituted by 51 coachbuilders of the province of Tungurahua to which a questionnaire was applied structured by 35 items distributed in the learning dimensions and the business growth descriptors, the answers obtained in the Likert scale (1 is totally in disagreement to 5 is totally in agreement) were analyzed with the statistical package SPSS through descriptive statistics and bivariate Pearson correlations. The results indicated the existence of a low mean positive correlation between the study variables. In addition, it was determined that 13% of the growth of companies in the sector is supported by all the dimensions of organizational learning as a whole.
