摘要
In this paper microstrip planar array of 16 elements is designed and simulated. It operates in the C band, from 3.7 to 4.2 GHz. It gives gain of 19.5 dB. It can produce many types of polarizations such as EO, EO, right and left circular. In all these ear polarizations the co-polar level is around 15 dB higher than cross polar level. The microstrip planer array for C band satellite TV reception can be easily constructed just by increasing the number of patches from 16 to 256. The array is simulated using ADS 2003A software.
