A simplified model for analysis and design of a current source active power filter

摘要
in this paper, the model for a current source active power filter (CS-APF) in the d-q synchronous frame is established. It is shown that if the resonant frequency of the ac-side LC filter of the APF is high enough, the model can be simplified and the coupling between d and q variables is negligible. On the basis of this model, the controller for the APF is designed and the simulation results are presented. The results show that CS-APF with the controller designed based on the simplified model has fast dynamic response, compensates effectively harmonic currents of nonlinear loads and is robust with the variation of supply inductance.
