摘要
Operational boundaries calculation of Permanent Magnet assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor is proposed. Furthermore the analysis of the thermal effects and iron losses on the motor operational boundaries is realized. The different motor analysis is carried out without finite element analysis, so the time required evaluating the envelope curve are reduced. Hence, operational boundaries can be introduced on optimization process of motor design. In this paper, the envelope curve obtained is calculated under the Maxim Torque per Ampere criteria, however another kind of curves, such as minimum losses or maximum efficiency, can be obtained by the same process. Finally, the methodology proposed to calculate operational boundaries is validated with finite element analysis.
