摘要
The local community's participation promotion in watershed resources management, a case study of Muang Trat river watershed, which is a participatory action research (PAR). The research's aims are to promote and develop the local community participation in conservation, restoration, and utilization management of the watershed resources, and also to investigate community's basic factors affecting the participation in the watershed resources management. The result of the research area follow the factors affecting community's participation in watershed resources management comprises of community status, utilize of forest resources, community potential and social capital, knowledge associated with watershed resources management, including perceiving of information regarding watershed resources management. Guidelines in developing community's participation towards watershed resources management are creation of community understanding, and to reinforcing the community involvement to explore the problems and structural the community's participation in water resources management, putting the managing plans into actions, forming groups of community-level water consumption organizations.
