An Integrated Architecture for Monitoring and Control the Temperature of Different Platforms Based on Internet of Things

摘要
This article describes the development of a monitoring system for the automation and temperature control of the electronics laboratory in the engineering building of the Universidad Panamericana Aguascalientes. The system is designed to turn on or off a fan using a global controller based on the data obtained by a temperature sensor, this data is sent through internet to a platform in the Google Firebase cloud and at the same time they are visualized in another monitoring platform through JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), allowing to graph in real time the temperature data and the moment of the fan turning on or off. The global controller is able to show the image of the building being monitored in real time by changing the color of the room depending on the temperature: in case it is higher than 28 degrees, the fan will turn on and the room will change color to red, if it is less than 18 degrees, it will change to blue and if it is between those two temperatures, it will change to yellow. This article proposes a novel concept of communication for the internet of things, since it allows sending information from a global controller without the possibility of storing data to another one that allows saving them through JSON.
